FACTORY PANAGYURISHTE

   The story of Yana Ltd. – factory Panagyurishte dates from the beginning of 20th century with the production of terry towels and fabric in Panagyurishte town, Bulgaria. Its founder Krastio Simeonov Boiadziev (1882 - 1935) is known, because in World War I was mobilized in Main Supply Management and there he began producing towels for the army with wooden hand looms. In March 1923 Boiadziev creates the company “First Bulgarian factory for towels - Limited partnership”, which became a solid foundation of this type of production.

   Few years later the name of the company was changed to factory for terry towels “Oborishte” and the facilities wеre supplied with first of their kind mechanical looms.

   On December of 8th, 1949, Deikovi brothers make their discovery of the “Panagyurishte Treasure” and for two days it was exposed on the showcase of the factory, located at that time in the center of the town. Later the factory was moved to its current address – a street bearing their family name -  Bratya Deikovi.

   Over the years the need for terry towels, both at home and abroad, grew, which led to increasing the production and purchasing additional looms, both mechanical and automated. For those needs was built a new dyeing facility.

   In 1998 the factory became part of YANA Ltd. factories, which marked the beginning of a new stage in the terry towels producing. For several years the energy infrastructure was completely renewed and energy saving systems ware applied.

   Today, thanks to the latest technologies, YANA Ltd. factories features the newest machines, which contribute to the creation of products with beautiful and modern design, fully consistent with our clients’ needs.
